As we previously found out, HTC is currently developing a new device called Eye. What’s interesting about this new smartphone is the fact that we no longer get the 4-ultrapixel DUO-camera on the back, but a 13-megapixel camera sensor instead with a in-depth secondary sensor that will allow us to choose the focus point in the photo.
Today, through the @evleaks Weibo account, we can see a first photo render with the device. As you can see, the phone official name will be HTC One (M8 Eye), name rumored a lot lately. Beside the 13-megapixel DUO camera on the back, the phone seems to be just like the standard One M8 without main visible features.
Also, a while ago there was a rumor that HTC may announce another smartphone called HTC Life with high-end specs such as a Quad HD 5.5-inch screen, 3 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. However, we don’t have high hopes with the possible launch of this device. It remains to see if HTC Eye will show up on October 8 during the HTC press event or not.
