Aside from the Huawei Mate S, the Chinese firm also unveiled at IFA 2015 today the Huawei G8 smartphone. That device was already known through an unveiling a few weeks ago, but today we get an European pricing for it.

The product will start at 399 euros and it’s going to be available in Dark Silver, Gold and White. It packs a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a 2.5D curved screen and Gorilla Glass protection. The handset uses an all metal body and integrates a fingerprint scanner at the back. The G8 also has the Fingerprint Sense 2.0 tech, that allows it to support scrolling, zooming and all sorts of other gestures with the fingerprint scanner.

This is a dual SIM phone with LTE connectivity on both SIMs. At the back we find a 13 megapixel main camera with sapphire protection and OIS, as well as RGBW sensor. G8 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI on top aided by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot and a 3000 mAh battery.
