We tend to look at such leaks with a great deal of suspicion, so you should take the following leaked packaging of the iPhone 5SE and the device picture with a big grain of salt. The handset clearly sports a front panel with gently curved edges.
This is supposed to be a 4 inch handset, with an unibody metal design and a form factor similar to the iPhone 6. The packaging confirms the name iPhone 5SE, not iPhone SE like we’ve heard recently. The source of the picture talks about the debut on March 22nd, a date we’ve been hearing a lot lately. This handset will have a Touch ID scanner, 1 GB of RAM, Apple A9 CPU and an 8 or 12 MP back camera.
“SE” is supposed to stand for “Special Edition”, as the rumors say. There’s something odd about the handset’s edges and it’s either poor Photoshop or a poor camera resolution, with the image too blown up. I also find the height of the box to be rather big. I’d expect some iPhone 5C influences…
