A fresh leak of the OnePlus 2 is here, this time showing us the device’s front panel. While leaks and teasers of this model have been available plenty, we have yet to see a clear shot of its facade. This picture brings us closer to that and let’s dissect it.

The cutout is rectangular with rounded side edges, similar to the approach taken by other companies, like Samsung or Meizu. I see that the earpiece cutout is quite big, although it could also include the sensors. The fingerprint reader was previously confirmed by a teaser and Carl Pei, OnePlus cofounder recently said that the placement of the sensor at the back of the phone isn’t the best idea.

I’m very curious to see this panel in context, in order to figure out just narrow its bezels are. Seeing other Chinese makers go crazy about narrow bezels (LeTV comes to mind, ZTE Nubias too) and crossing over to Japan to glance at the Sharp Aquos Crystal, OnePlus 2 must really do something special with that panel to impress us…
