And what a nice present for the beginning of next year it will be! Don’t get us wrong,  old fashioned QWERTY keypad is great, but sometimes touchscreen can be an even better solution.

Many users that got to try out T-Mobile G1, the smartphone using Android platform, complained about the fact that they have to slide out the QWERTY keypad every time they have to input any type of text in the device. For them, developers have started working on a virtual keypad to include on the touchscreen devices running Google’s operating system.

The touch sensitive solution should come at the beginning of next year. Since Android is an open system, there are high chances that we will have many developers working on this problem and, as a result, also many keypad versions to choose from.
