Not only Xiaomi and Samsung had something to announce yesterday, but Lenovo too. This Chinese producer launched the Phab Plus, device that comes with a huge 6.8 inch display and packs dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE connectivity and carries a $407 price tag.

In terms of specs, we’re looking at a phablet with 6.8 inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) + Oleophobic coating in order to prevent stains and prints, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 8-cores, an Adreno 405 GPU, 2 GB of RAM memory and 32 GB space of internal storage. Fortunately, there’s a microSD card slot in the pack.

The phablet offers dual-SIM connectivity, FDD-LTE, WCDMA, CDMA 2000 and GSM networks cover. Lenovo Phab Plus comes with a 13-megapixel OmniVision sensor on the back + dual-tone LED, a 5-megapixel front-facing cam and Dolby Atmos technology.

As other connectivity features we get 4G LTE , GPS, Bluetooth, dual-band WiFi and of course a microUSB v2.0 port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Phab Plus packs a 3500 mAh battery in a 7.6 mm case that weighs 220 grams. This device runs Lollipop straight out of the box. Does the $407 price tag is right for this device?
