Guess what? AT&T’s not the only carrier to dive into the Windows Mobile 6.5 pool, now that Sprint is also getting ready to have a taste of it, through the Samsung Intrepid model. Said WM 6.5 smartphone will be arriving on October 11th, packing a QWERTY keyboard.

This looks like a successor to the Ace model and it packs EV-DO Rev. A connectivity, a 2.5 inch QVGA screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Sprint Navigation is also supported on the handset, plus Adobe Flash Lite, instant messaging and social networking via Twitter and Facebook.

Intrepid should retail for $149.99, after a $100 mail in rebate and with a 2 year contract.
