Apple has just released an update for the iPhone OS, version 3.1.2 and you should know that this software fixes 3 important bugs. However, the update is not big enough to require you to restart your iPhone once it’s completed.
Among the changes brought by the new iPhone OS version, there’s also the fix of the issue that made the handset remain in sleep mode, unable to wake up from it. Another solved bug is that of the cell network interruption, at least till the device was restarted. Last on the solved issues list is the crash during video streaming, also addressed in iPhone OS 3.1.2.
The update is compatible with the iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, by plugging the handset into the computer and using iTunes.
