The folks of Revision 3 have scored a HTC HD2 unit for the American public to have a look at, specially considering that the handset formerly known as HTC Leo is not coming to the US soil. They have a look at the best, latest phones and you can skip to minute 29 for a look at HTC HD2 in the video below:

Notice the huge 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display in action and how the cool Weather tab plays its part in making the device look cooler. It’s got neat animations, triangulation via 3G and WiFi in order to determine where the user is at the moment and much, much more. The HTC Sense UI is also on board, together with Windows Mobile 6.5 and Windows Mobile 7 in the future, since this is the very first smartphone to support this OS.

HTC HD2 packs 512MB ROM, 448MB RAM, comes with a Calendar feature, Twitter, Footprints (take a picture of a place and attach coordinates, phone numbers and whatnot to it). On the Home screen of the handset, you’ll notice a bunch of shortcuts that can be customized and the browser will support live preview, showing the real version of a site in a thumbnail.

You’ll have to know that this beauty will hit the UK on November 11th and the rest of the world soon after, with the US in 2010.
