Although we would have liked to inform you that the iPad’s iPhone OS 3.2 was made available by Apple, all we’ve got is the news that iPhone OS 3.1.3 can now be downloaded by iPhone and iPod touch owners. The changelog of the new software mentions improved accuracy of reported battery level on the 3GS model and solved issues with third party apps that were not launching.

Also, the new iPhone OS solves bugs that caused an app to crash when the Japanese Kana keyboard was used. As with the rest of the updates, this software will break the blackra1n and redsnow hacks, so hold back from updating if you’ve got a jailbroken iPhone.
