Google has recently launched Buzz, a service that will rival Facebook and Twitter, unavailable for purchase right now, at least not for the search engine giant. Here’s a short presentation of Google’s latest service:

Buzz allows its users to post status messages, complete with tags that show their location, plus images and videos. This service is included in Gmail and it can import info and images from other sites like Picasa, Flickr, Twitter or Google Reader. Google’s Facebook rival gets its update in real time and the comments will be shown immediately and sent in your Gmail inbox.

Basically, Google Buzz is a new way of sharing what you do, see or participate in, also providing information and pics to your Gmail contacts. Just like Facebook, Buzz will show images by checking out the links you publish on it and allows comments on your posts, images and videos. Will this service manage to rival the likes of Twitter and Facebook?
