Motorola opened its MWC 2010 section in Barcelona today by announcing the Quench MOTOBLUR handset, that will be known in North America as the CLIQ XT. It’ll be sold by T-Mobile USA starting next month.
The handset comes with a 3.1 inch touchscreen display, navigation features and support for Adobe Flash Lite. As far as connectivity is concerned, Motorola Quench provides support for WCDMA 850/1900/2100 MHz, WCDMA 900/1700/2100 MHz, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, EDGE and GPRS. The new device weighs 123.5 grams, it’s 12.3mm thick and runs Android 1.5.
Moto Quench’s display supports a 320 x 480 pixel resolution and it also incorporates a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording. Multimedia playback is supported, in many media formats and the new Moto phone also uses 32GB microSD card slot and comes with navigational functions like aGPS, Google Maps, an electronic compass and turn by turn guidance.
