Acer unveiled today a new Snapdragon Android phone, the Liquid e model, packing a 786 MHz CPU and running Android 2.1. The device is pictured below, showing its 3.5 inch display and Zune-like design.
Announced today at MWC 2010, the smartphone comes with five home screens, a rich selection of apps, available via Android Market, widgets and shortcuts. Quick Contacts are also available on the phone, a feature that allows you to switch between the address book and social networking contacts.
Live wallpapers are also available on Acer Liquid e, allowing you to customize it on the go, plus a new keyboard layout, with an incorporated dictionary and predictive input. There’s also an updated version of the Android browser on this OS, with HTML5 support, double tap zooming, video tagging and geo-location.
