Alcatel was also present in Barcelona these days, attending the MWC 2010 event and showcasing a brand new Android phone: Alcatel OT-980. Scheduled for a May release, this device looks very much like Palm Pre, as you can see in this image:

We have no info concerning the specs of the device, but what we do know is that it runs Android 1.6 and that it’ll be updated to Android 2.1 a few months after it’s launched. Our opinion? A bulky, thick phone that only sell well if it has a decent price.
