If you want to have a look at the insides of the iPad, we’ve got some pics for you, courtesy of the FCC, that aside from testing and approving the device, also tore it apart. The tablet goes through the usual stages of such a famous product: announcement: launch, hands on experience, unboxing, dissection, review and funny videos showing it in action.

We’ve recently learned that the folks of iFixit are checking out the components under the iPad’s hood and they even got their hands on the 3G version of the tablet, a month before its store release.

The images included in this article show the chips under the device’s shell, its battery and main board. Also, don’t forget to check out the fun vid after the break, showing a (fake) iPad destruction with a golf club:
