A couple of weeks ago Google went out and announced that it plans on offering Android 2.1 updates for all the handsets running its OS. Of course, the rollout will take place gradually, but nothing can stop leaks, like the one that recently took place with the aid of the SDX-Developers folks. Thus, we find ourselves witnessing Android 2.1 running on Samsung Moment.

The forum mentioned above provides a download link to an archive that contains two leaked builds: ECLAIR.DC23 and ECLAIR.DD03. The latter seems to be more stable, but there are some users reporting a faulty Android Marketplace in this build. If you’re willing to risk and try, remember that you need to wipe all data to do so.
