Dell detailed a bunch of great smartphones today, with the latest of them being Dell Flash, a Froyo-based device, pictured below. This Android 2.2 smartphone is 2011 material, it’s 11mm thick and features a 3.5 inch WVGA LCD display, plus support for 14.4Mbps downloads.
850/1900/2100 MHz HSPA support is also on the specs list, plus a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, with image stabilization and smile/blink detection. 512MB RAM and ROM, plus a microSD card slot (64GB max) complete the features list, together with WiFi, TV-out, a 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 3.0. Should we mention that 64GB cards aren’t available yet?
Running the Froyo is a Qualcomm MSM7230 core at 800 MHz, that should bring HD video capability and support for Flash 10.1. Apparently, the interface on board will be known as Stage UI and as far as the launch date is concerned, expect this unit to debut in Q1 2011 on AT&T and internationally afterwards.
