Said case connects with an iPhone app, based on solid password protection. Trials are expected to begin this summer, although we’re not sure just how limited they’ll be. Using Visa and DeviceFidelity’s solution, you’ll be able to make payments just by waving your iPhone in front of a payment terminal.
The new technology involves a protective iPhone case, that incorporates a secure memory card, hosting Visa’s contactless payment application, known as Visa payWave. The system is supported on both the iPhone 3GS and the 3G model.
