Among the devices announced by Samsung at CommunicAsia 2010 we must mention the Samsung Galaxy Beam projector phone, pictured below and detailed after the break. This handset was also known as the Samsung i8520 and it was first showcased and talked about in February.
Galaxy Beam will debut in Singapore in July and it’s a world premiere, as the very first Android projector phone. It’ll run Android 2.1 and feature a 3.7 inch Super AMOLED display (WVGA), an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with HD video recording, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and A-GPS.
The phone relies on a “beam projector” and its price is a mystery right now.
