Samsung has just announced the rugged Xcover E2370 handset, an entry-level device with a very impressive battery life. It even goes beyond the performance of a Philips Xenium model, providing 67 days of standby functioning and 22 hours of talk time.
Xcover resists dust and splash, plus it weighs 115 grams and it measures 19mm in thickness. Its specs list includes GSM/EDGE connectivity, a 128 x 160 pixel TFT display, Bluetooth, FM radio, a VGA photo camera and 5MB of internal memory. There’s also a microSD card slot on board, with support for up to 2GB.
Samsung Xcover E2370 will debut in July in most of the European markets for about $96.
