Froyo (Android 2.2) might have reached the general public some way or another, but it’s not yet been seen on a handset launched with this platform as a default, not an upgrade. This might happen to Huawei’s new phone, pictured below and ready to take off in August.

This Android 2.2 entry-level phone sports a 2.8 inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera (maybe with dual LED flash) and HSDPA 3G connectivity. The display is not all that impressive, but in case the price of this unit is reasonable enough, we’ll dig it.
