If you’re already a Motorola Droid X owner and you want to root your device, there’s an user-friendly solution for you, out there. The Alldroid forums is the place to go, with member Sil3ntKi113 posting an user-friendly rooting tool for Windows users.

This software will simply install all the files and drivers one needs to root the handset and it’s launched with a press of two easy to figure out options: “root me” and “unroot me”. Feedback from users mentions that the program roots Droid X and the manual method of typing terminal commands.
