The guys of Mobileburn have a treat for us all, while waiting for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic handset to hit the market: a video review of the phone. What you can see in the videos below is a pre-production unit of the phone, but still one that has very few bugs, which will probably get solved by the production firmware.

Mobileburn calls the 5800 XpressMusic a “great phone” and also claims that S60 5th Edition works perfectly with finger touch support, providing the neat S60 experience with a new twist. Scrolling works just fine and as a defect, the editors mention the lack of customization options when it comes for Active Standby screen themes.
It should include more shortcuts, contacts or options, plus Mobileburn also says that the virtual QWERTY keypad is not behaving as well as they expected it to. Last, but not least, we find out that the phone feels “plasticky”, but the vibration feedback of the touchscreen is nice and adjustable from the handset’s profiles.
