The iPhone is once again a musical instrument, courtesy of musician/comic Reggie Watts, who was recently interviewed by Ron Beninggton on Sirius XM’s Unmasked. During this show Reggie Watts mentioned that he didn’t bring his instruments, so he used his iPhone to improvise a song about pancakes. Here’s the result:

Watts is not the first to use an iPhone for music, since there was a New York band performing on the subway using 4 such handsets, not so long ago. Also, an year or more back a Stanford orchestra became famous by playing tunes using the same phone. Well, improv and a bit of autotuning plus beatbox is something else…
