Not feeling secure enough while using PayPal? Well now there’s an extra security feature that sends the user a unique code on his cellphone, as he tries to log in.
It’s a six digit code we’re talking about and this, combined with the user name and password that the customer normally uses, will stand for the entire authentication process.
This is a move intended to stop phishing attacks and make PayPal users feel safer. The new option is available in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany and the US for now.
PayPal is also working on a service that allows its users to use their phones to buy products, after implementing yet another mobile-based service that allows customers to transfer funds to other persons via text messages.
