Just as we’re approaching the release of iOS 4.3, GreenPoisOn released the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1. The folks who tested this jailbreak method say that it allows you to load Cydia, so you’ll have no problem with getting our beloved third party software.
This hack method seems to be working fine and rebooting the handset won’t wipe it out. In case you’re not familiar with jailbreaking, you should hold off from making experiments, unless you’ve got a developer friend who can make recommendations. Well, right now the GreenPoisOn site seems to be giving out errors, so I haven’t been able to download the software.
