Since Samsung keeps teasing us with glimpses of the Galaxy S2, we might as well check out some rumors concerning its specifications. We’re talking about the info coming from Samfirmware and Tweakers, who say that the new model (also known as Seine) will use a dual core Orion CPU, among others.
Speculations also mention a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus Display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and NFC support. As far as the camera is concerned, Galaxy S2 gets an 8MP unit with LED flash and a 1.3MP front camera. Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n handle the connectivity side.
Previously, we’ve heard that the screen was supposed to be a 4.3 inch unit, but the new info contradicts that. We’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves at MWC 2011.
