If you’ve used a Windows Phone 7 handset for more than 5 minutes, you might have noticed that its camera software has a weird problem: the settings and effects you apply are cancelled and returned to default once you leave the camera menu. Apparently, this issue won’t be corrected in the first WP7 update, according to sources.

The folks of MobileTechWorld recently tested an emulator of the OS, that includes the update and the camera was still the same. It could be that the fix has been added recently, or simply MS didn’t care enough to do it. Some WP7 users are still hoping to get a screen capture feature, that was required on the platform as well, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what the update is all about.
