Good day for Nexus phone owners! It turns out that the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS is available as an over the air update for the Google Nexus S and Nexus One smartphones. The search engine giant is warning that the OTA update “may take a few weeks” to be available on your device.

We expect a customized and leaked version of it to be available first, with the XDA folks already on the job, we suppose. Among the issues solved by this update there are some random reboots, signal loss and Nexus S users also get the ability to write NFC tags. Feel free to post feedback on the update, in the Comments section below, if you got it.
