Motorola Xoom and HTC Thunderbolt have been some of the most controversial items in Best Buy’s offer, with new prices being mentioned every week over the past month or so. Now, we learn that the HTC Thunderbolt will be launching with a $300 price tag, as mentioned in the latest Best Buy circular.
Speculations from last month mentioned a $250 to $300 price, so finally we have something solid to work with. This is nothing to lose sleep over, especially since this is a device that reminds us of the good old HTC HD2 design, with some tiny modifications and the same single core CPU.
This may be a LTE phone, but if you want a super smartphone, you should hold back for those hot dual core models, like the Motorola Atrix 4G or the LG Optimus 2X. Keep in mind that the Thunderbolt pricing we mentioned above applies with a contract, so you’re not free of commitment.
