Since the iPhone 4 started off with a scandal last year, because of its antenna issues, now Apple will do everything in its power to avoid all problems on the future handset. The “Death Grip” is pretty much history, although it has given news editors a reason to search for defects on new smartphones.
Gathering all the rumors we have on the iPhone 5, it turns out that the device will come with NFC, a larger Retina Screen (most likely 4 inch in diagonal) and a new antenna design. This means that Apple could re-introduce the aluminum back cover, taking us back to the original iPhone design.
There has also been talk about an edge to edge display on the new phone, but Apple will probably surprise us once again, if not through design, than through some cool feature.
