If a handset is made in China, that doesn’t automatically mean it’s bad or poor quality… Just look at the K-Touch W700 dual core smartphone, that may be pricey, but it’s still a step in the good direction. We’re dealing with an Nvidia Tegra 2 device, one that sports a 3.8 inch WVGA display and a 5 megapixel camera.

There’s also a VGA camera upfront, as well as 512MB RAM and a memory card slot on board. Android is running on the handset and our guess is version 2.3, but Froyo with some customization is just as good. Too bad that the price is around $540, of course off contract, but maybe taking this baby back West will give it some reductions and 2 year commitments that take down the price a notch.
