There’s this guy out there, Neil Ross Goco (@jonjongoco), from Quezon City in Philippines, claiming he knows quite a lot about a new Nokia device. We’re talking about the N8-01, that’s apparently in the possession of Neil, in prototype phase. How he came across the handset and his link with Nokia, we don’t know yet…
According to the same mysterious source, Nokia N8-01 is supposed to feature a 14 megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM, a 1650mAh battery and dual core processor. The display will rely on qHD technology, although we have no idea what diagonal it will be. From Neil’s Twitter account we also learn that Nokia won’t be launching any MeeGo phone this year, only releasing Symbian^3 and Windows Phone units.
Nokia N8-01 is supposed to debut in Q3 or Q4, packing a Xenon Flash and looking better than the N8-00, if rumors are to be believed. Whether or not this is solid info, I guess we’ll find out once we see the first pics of the device and some official specs.
