After finding out that the HTC Sensation ROM was leaked online, complete with HTC Sense 3.0, it was only a matter of time till we saw the software unofficially available on some other HTC device. This time, it has reached HTC Desire HD, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its bugs and issues.

XDA Developers member capychimp is the one behind this, using a recent ROM dump from the HTC Sensation to create his own custom ROM. The software is based on Android 2.3.3. Gingerbread and also includes Sense 3.0, so you can get an early taste of the UI, even without the latest HTC dual core phone.

Strangely enough, HTC announced yesterday that only the Sensation and EVO 3D smartphones will receive Sense 3.0, while the Flyer tablet is also the only one with it right now. The bug list is pretty big right now, so you should wait a bit, till a more stable version is available for your Desire HD unit.
