Many of the younger watchers of the promo video for Samsung Galaxy S II will feel tempted to bathe the phone before the clip is over. However, there’s a tiny warning inside this ad, advising not to expose the new smartphone to such a torture, else it will fry. Now back to the promotional stuff, this is the very first Galaxy S II commercial:

The dual core 1.2GHz smartphone gets an ad that focuses on the realistic Super AMOLED Plus display, imitating real life so good, that you can confuse it the image you perceive with your own eyes. We remind you that the phone, one of the thinnest and lightest out there will be available starting May 1st in the UK, at least.

Can’t say that 2011 was a great year for handset advertising, since not even the Motorola Xoom and Apple iPad 2 ads impressed me…
