After BTIG Research announced that in February the HTC Thunderbolt smartphone outsold the Verizon iPhone, now there’s another confirmation of the handset’s success. Turns out that ITG Investment Research is now claiming that the Thunderbolt also outsold the iPhone in March.
Too bad we have no idea how ITG’s figures came up or what studies they did to reach this result. It’s still shocking that the Thunderbolt is able to face the iPhone, the mother of all smartphones when it comes to popularity. Maybe this is an indication of things to come and the future dual core HTCs will go head to head with the iPhone 5?
