Google I/O 2011 looks like a very interesting event, one that will most likely include the announcement of the new version of Android, dubbed Ice Cream Sandwich. The series of conferences starts in less than 10 hours and includes 110 sessions, 261 speakers and 152 Sandbox partners.
Google engineers from Andy Rubin and Sundar Pinchai’s teams will showcase the features of the new platforms available during Google I/O. Both Android and Chrome were mentioned on Google’s blog dedicated to the event. Previews will be available and the two main keynote presentations will be available via live streams online. Also, you’ll watch the Android and Chrome technical sessions online and the After Hours party.
If you can’t get to see the live feed, there’s always the opportunity of watching recorded videos from all sessions on 8 product racks available 24 hours after the conference. I/O takes place in San Francisco and you should check out www.google.com/io on May 10 at 9:00 am for more details. More developments will be found on twitter (#io2011) and on the Google Code Blog.
