Since hackers are always busy toying with the T-Mobile G1, Google thought that it was about time to make their work easier. So, the big G is now offering development versions of the handset, meaning that the devices are unlocked (hardware and SIM). All you need to do, in order to receive one of these units is to pay a $25 registration fee and $399 for the phone.

The offer is only available for developers from the US, UK, Germany, Japan, India, Canada, France, Taiwan, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Poland and Hungary, but the list of countries is growing as we speak.

As a neat add-on, notice the cool factor of the back of the handset’s case… Neat, right?
