HTC Droid Incredible 2 owners be wary! You will soon be able to download Android 2.3 Gingerbread on your devices. The software will come through an OTA update that will bring the usual features of the latest Android release.

The file is about 116MB in size and Verizon is claiming that the update process will take around 20 to 30 minutes to finish. You get bug fixes with this software, when it comes to mobile IM and Hotmail sync,plus a new Download Manager app and Desktop Dock app.

Power management is also improved, as are the word selection and copy, while the stability of the system is increased. Connectivity when roaming has also been improved.  Bonus, if you have access to wireless charging accessories, you get a new interface for that.
