Samsung INNOV8 has reached the hands of the GSM Arena reviewers a couple of days ago and it seemed that handling the 8 megapixel cameraphone was truly a ball. I’m talking TFT display, lots of storage space, Symbian OS at its best and neat multimedia features. Obviously, everybody’s wondering how good the incorporated camera really is and if it’s a worthy replacement for a genuine digital camera.

INNOV8’s camera can produce images of up to 3264 x 2448 pixel resolution and its sensor is an autofocus unit, accompanied by LED flash, although we wished a Xenon one would have been on board. The shutter key is easy to use , the camera UI is brilliant and it’s the reviewer’s favorite tab layout, as it’s got tons of options.

As you use the Samsung i8510 to take pics, you’ll get to mess with lots of settings, like effects, white balance, ISO, sharpness, saturation and contrast. The camera’s also got geotagging, image stabilization and blink detection, but more about that in the full review.
