How about some leaked shots of a fresh Samsung LTE phone? I’m not talking about the Galaxy S II LTE here, but rather the Stratosphere model, pictured below. This sliding QWERTY handset is headed to Verizon, according to pics that show the carrier’s branding on the case.
Samsung Stratosphere SCH-I405 was previously rumored as Samsung Aegis and strangely enough, this model is expected to hit the shops this week, together with popular devices such as the Droid Bionic and BlackBerry Curve 9370 Apollo. The specifications of this new LTE handset are pretty uncertain right now, although what’s sure is that we should expect an upper mid-range phone with a great display, 5MP camera, 1.3MP camera upfront and about 2GB of free storage.
The price will be around $150 on contract, but it could go higher, depending on the rest of the specifications and especially the screen technology used on this cellphone. Stratosphere should run Android 2.3.4 if everything goes well. Are you ready to make the jump to LTE?
