Although the 4Chan discussions can’t be seen as 100% accurate info, here we go: turns out that an anonymous user has detailed his encounter with a handset we’re all waiting for: Samsung Nexus Prime. Not only that, but the user also has minor hints about the Galaxy S III.
Right now the whole detailed story has been taken down, but the folks of androidandme kept the details on their website. This guy on 4Chan says that a bunch of Samsung representatives dropped by his office and gave his team a heads up on future products. These included the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Nexus Prime) and Galaxy S III. As far as the new Nexus goes, this model uses a body with rounded edges and looks pretty similar to the Nexus S.
The smartphone is much bigger than the iPhone and should come with a dual core Exynos CPU at 1.5GHz, 1GB RAM, a Super AMOLED Plus 4.65 inch display with a 1280 x 720 HD display and 16GB of internal memory. The body of the phone measures 8.8mm and the device weighs around 130-140 grams, while on the inside you’ll also find a 2000mAh battery. The same 4Chan source has details about the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, that works like Gingerbread, but with a change of looks.
Ice Cream Sandwich’s app drawer comes with 3 top sections, separate for games, apps and widgets. You can even crate your own app drawer and name it however you want. Overall, the interface is called “glassy” as far as look goes, so I can imagine it looks great. Sadly, the source didn’t reveal info about Samsung Galaxy S III, other than its presence during the Samsung representatives’ visit.
