It’s been a busy couple of weeks for HTC, that not only debuted the HTC Titan and Radar WP7 Mango devices, but also models with Android such Sensation XE and Rhyme. Of course, leaks also happened, so we got to see an official picture of the HTC Explorer and now the HTC Ruby, that’s shown below.
This is a 1.5GHz dual core handset that will supposedly debut on T-Mobile with the HTC Amaze 4G branding. The international launch might only keep the name Amaze, but I can’t really vouch for that right now. Ruby is a codename at this moment and its specs include a 4.3 inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera with HD capture and NFC.
Black and white versions of the smartphone will be made available, but we also expect colours form T-Mobile. There’s evidence out there about an October 26th debut and I can’t for the life of me figure out why one would choose this model over the HTC Sensation, that has exactly the same specs, except for the RAM and a slight CPU tweak. All of that in a rounded design package?
