And yet another Galaxy model from Samsung! The Asian company has just introduced the Galaxy R aka the I9103 handset in China, a similar mode to the one that will be available in other parts of the word, but with software changes, so it supports local services: Sina, QQ, Youku and more.

The handset comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a Tegra 2 1GHz processor (dual core), a 4.2 inch display of the Super Clear LCD kind and a 5 megapixel camera. As far as connectivity and ports go, you get WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD slot. There’s also a 1650 mAh battery on board powering the entire joint.

For an appealing price this model could compete with the other dual core smartphones in China, at least till the iPhone 5 is launched and starts dominating the largest handset customer base in the world.
