It’s a fact that most modern smartphones with the best of specs come from Japan. This is the case of the Aquos Phone SoftBank 104SH, a waterproof phone with a dual core 1.5GHz CPU and a HD display. Sold by carrier SoftBank Mobile, this model packs a 4.5 inch display with an incredible 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.
We’ve heard that LG, Motorola and HTC also have phones with such a resolution in the making, but I’ve yet to see some solid results. Back to the AQUOS Phone 104SH, the handset comes with smart features that save battery power and protect the environment. Thus, the consumption will be taken down to 25% in active mode and to 40% in standby mode.
There’s also a 12.1 megapxiel camera on board to impress fellow amateur photographers with. Also, this cam supports full HD video recording and the handset comes with a very useful feat in Japan: earthquake and natural disaster warning system. AQUOS Phone Softbank 104SH supports WCDMA communications, HSPA+, it measures 8.7mm and its CPU is a TI OMAP4460 unit.
