We already had the chance to glance at the screenshots and video of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich premiere phone, the Nexus Prime and now we have a glance at parts of the new OS. What we have here are screenshots of the Gmail, Calendar and Email widgets.
Sadly, these can’t be downloaded to your Android phone, since they require ICS to work. The images you see here features comparisons between the older Honeycomb widgets and the present Ice Cream Sandwich ones. In the Gmail widget, you can see that the labels are lacking, but we don’t know if the messages displayed are actually labeled. Overall, the widget looks cleaner and with brighter shades of color, it looks more friendly.
The email app stays the same and it looks very much like the Gmail one, while the Calendar is now more compact, darker and with clearer fonts. Also, the demo appointments are very quirky, so that’s a fun feat. Expect more Ice Cream Sandwich leakage over the following days!
