The Motorola Droid RAZR is one of those products that everyone wants to get and have fun with, especially because of what the RAZR brand stands for: great design, material quality and sturdiness, plus great performance. Now, the fever will reach China, but it will also get the Asian public an upgrade, a strange one for that matter…
Rumors are saying that the Chinese public will get the Motorola Droid RAZR in the XT928 and MT917 versions, that will pack 13 megapixel cameras, as opposed to the standard version with 8 megapixel camera. I have to admit that the XT928 looks a bit more like the Droid X2 than the RAZR, but I’ll let that slide. These are CDMA2000 units and the XT928 seems to have lost its Kevlar back with the flight over the Ocean.
MT917 also brings another improvement: a 720p 4.5 inch display and a 13 megapixel camera, making it the perfect smartphone. This one works on TD-SCDMA networks and adds a millimeter of thickness to the anorexic RAZR’s 7.1mm waistline. No release date or price was revealed as usual… Of course we should take the leak with a grain of salt.
