Huawei just announced a new smartphone dubbed Honor, a device that will come to Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and China starting December. As you can see Asian countries are privileged, so I guess we’ll be seeing the phone next year, maybe… In the meantime I must mention that the product ships in 6 different colors, for different lifestyles…

This is an Android phone with a customized UI, that involves exclusive icons and widgets, plus 3D transitions in the Music Player. Android 2.3.5 is the OS of choice and it runs on top of a 1.4 GHz processor. There’s also a 4 inch display on board, as well as dual cameras, among which there’s an 8 megapixel shooter and a 2 megapixel one upfront.

512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and a memory card slot fill in the blanks. Huawei Honor also comes with WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, predictably. An extra feat I must mention is the Huawei Guard, that gets rids of viruses, blocks calls/texts when the need arises and uses password protection for messages and call logs.
