Samsung Galaxy Nexus is off to a rocky start, since it not only suffered some specs changes, delays, even a name change and now it’s the subject of criticism involving a bug that affects its volume. It appears that the first Android 4.0 phone has its volume reduced or even muted when you mess around with EDGE network settings.
The folks of Android Central confirm the bug and say that when switching between EDGE and 3G or EDGE and WiFi, the device randomly changed the volume settings and eventually went mute. There’s video proof below and some people are claiming that this issue only affects 900MHz EDGE networks, although no confirmation has been received just yet.
I wonder what’s nest… Traditionally, when a new iPhone is launched, people find screen issues, battery issues and then camera issues. Is this going to become a tradition for the Android smartphones, as well? Is this an isolated case?
