Motorola Droid RAZR, the thinnest Android smartphone has just received a software update, one that improves stability, enhances a couple of features and gets rid of some bugs. This is version 6.11.748.XT912.Verizon.en.US I’m talking about, one that improves 4G data connectivity for this LTE smartphone and also eliminates false SIM error messages.
Transition between 3G and 4G is also more smooth now and WiFi performance has also increased. The camera also gets an improvement and some stability issues have been corrected, also courtesy of the same software. The Browser, phone dialer, video and music player are now rid of their annoying force closes. Lapdock email, SMS and social networking interfaces have improved readability and group message notifications have also been worked upon.
A quick reminder for you: the Motorola Droid 4 is coming soon enough, bringing you most of the features of the Droid RAZR and throwing in an extra sliding QWERTY keyboard. Does it appeal to you?
